Zorse, via The NY Times
A Zorse is the offspring of a horse and a zebra. Several strange hybrids like this have been born in captivity. However, most of the animals are born infertile, thereby preventing the combined species from naturally evolving. See the NY Times article for other bizarre hybrid creatures.
